Sarah Gerrard is a Saskatoon based artist. Her paintings reflect her preoccupation with place: landscapes, cityscapes, and buildings figure prominently in her work. Through her use of colour, contrasting brush strokes, and visual texture she hopes viewers will glean impressions of the places she paints regardless of whether these are foreign or familiar scenes.
Sarah majored in studio art at the University of Saskatchewan and received her B.A. and B.Ed degrees there in 2005. She currently teaches Art and English at Warman High School.
